TRAINING FEE GUIDELINES AND DISCLOSURE
This information will help clarify for you some of the assumptions we use, that underlie our work together.
1. Professional Licensure. Although I have a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Psychology, I am not licensed as a psychologist in the State of Texas, and therefore cannot, and do not, practice psychology as defined by the law here. What this means is that I do not diagnose, nor do I treat, psychological or medical disorders. My practice is limited to offering NeurOptimal® training for personal growth, transformation and enhancement.
2. Fees are due in advance of service. We do not work with insurance or submit to third parties. We can provide a receipt upon request and you can seek reimbursement as you see fit.
3. Our fees are in US Currency. We accept cash and credit cards / debit cards only. No checks.
4. Fees are $135.00 per session.
5. Session length is about 50 minutes, so you will typically be in and out within the hour. Please arrive a few minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment so you have time to complete any paperwork, use the facilities, etc. It you arrive late, we can still complete the session but will need to finish at its appointed time so as not to inconvenience the next client. We will work with you to provide the maximum training time we can in the time we have.
6. Cancellation policy. Cancellations must be made within 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Your credit card will need to be provided to keep on file and will be charged for any missed or No Show appointments. This means you need to call before 24 hours before the start of the session (not the “night before”) to not incur charges, and it means the reason for your cancellation is not a consideration. While we can—and do— feel personally sympathetic to issues that can arise, please consider your booking like a concert ticket. Feel free to use it or not, as supports your best interests at the time.
7. We do not provide emergency coverage and may not be available for blocks of time, such as weekends or holidays. You are welcome to call us between 10am and 9pm any day of the week or email at any time, and we will get back to you as soon as we are able. If you require medical or mental health support, please contact your physician or therapist.
8. Please note we reserve the right whether to accept a particular individual for training or not and may opt to discontinue training services with a client.
Please sign below that you have read, understood and are able and willing to work within these guidelines.
